This is an area that burned a few years ago. We have the ability to put presupression fire lines across the mountains to aid fire fighters in future fires. In addition we are restoring the affected area back to a natural state without the excess regrowth.

This area has had very little rain over the past couple of years. We are able to reduce this material to lower the fire threat in these steep conditions.
